Tara Gail Phillips - Daniel Lee Parkins
Eddie and Krista Phillips of Straight Mountain announce the engagement
of
their daughter, Tara Gail Phillips, to Dr. Daniel Lee Parkins, son of Bill
and
Donna Parkins of Locust Fork.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ed and Gail Phillips of
Straight
Mountain and the late Ervil and Gracie Baker of Hayden. A 2003 graduate
of Appalachian High School, she earned her degree from Auburn University
in 2007 and is now employed as math teacher and coach at J.B. Pennington
High School.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Lee and Myra Parkins of
Gardendale and Sue McCay and the late Daniel Ray McCay of Locust Fork. A
pharmacist
at Rite-Aid in Pinson, he is a 2002 graduate of Locust Fork School and a
2008 graduate of the McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University.
The couple's wedding is scheduled for April 11, 2009. Invitations will
be mailed.
